| Benzene is a
clear, volatile liquid made up of six carbon atoms and six hydrogen
atoms arranged in a ring shape. It is an important intermediate chemical
that can be commercially used to manufacture many popular end products. The Chemical
Design Benzene removal system is designed to remove and recover benzene
from HCl, hydrogen and natural gas. It employs an arrangement that
allows electric heater size and therefore maximum instantaneous heat
demand to be cut in half. This arrangement not only saves the customer
energy costs but allows a more continuous return of recovered benzene. A
typical HCl purification system is shown above. |
