Ammonia, the
common name for NH3, is a colorless, strongly basic gas,
which is readily soluble in water and lighter than air . Industrially, it
is used in explosives, cleaning solutions, fertilizer and
refrigerants. CDI is capable of removing NH3
from the
customer feed stream utilizing high pressure adsorption. The
picture above shows a CDI Ammonia removal unit ready for shipment.
