Air Plant Feed Purification - Chemical Design, Inc.

The three vessel air separation plant shown above is actually comprised of six adsorbers run in three parallel sets. This system uses both a steam heater and electric heater for regeneration. Preheating the regen gas with the readily available plant steam allows the customer to realize significant savings in utility costs. Since the original installation, CDI has retro-fitted the plant with a more sophisticated control system that interfaces with the plant DCS and allows for more efficient operation of the plant. Operational statistics are shown below.
